I’ve recently been thinking about taking a good quality CSC to work with me as sometimes you see something lovely but haven’t got a camera apart from your phone. I had been looking around at various models and decided upon the Sony A systems. They seem great value for money and the A6000 (I’m going…Read details
I’ve been posting a few of my images on Viewbug as I thought as I don’t earn a living on my images, working full time, I’d try and enter some competitions. My shot of Lustleigh Steam made it to the finals of the F-Stoppers competition.
My image made it onto issue 44 of Landscape Photography Magazine. One of my favourite locations to visit when the days draw in and I cycle to work. Always seems to have a different feel whenever I have shot it, mist, frost and tree colours.

Had my shot of Brock’s Farm published in LPM this month in LPM magazine. I decided to re-edit it and crop is slightly from my first attempt almost a year ago 🙂

Our recent launch of Bickington Photography Club made me think of the initial frustration I had in photography i.e. lack of basic understanding of how best to use my camera and what all of the settings meant. So I thought I would write a quick blog on maybe how to best go about improving one’s…Read details
I submitted my shot of last year’s flowering of Kennick Reservoir’s Rhododendrons. It was such a calm day the water was like a mirror and the cloud detail was wonderful. The shot made Picture of the Week in LPM magazine and gets entered into the Picture of the Month to stand a chance of winning…Read details
