It has evolved over 15 years from a small organic farm growing hay and rearing Shetland cattle into a place which invites you in for a visit. We are delighted to be the guests of Kate for the day.
A place to Meet , Learn and Grow, West Moss-sideinspires creativity. Our host Kate is a ‘basket maker, weaver and twiddler’ and she will join us on the day to demonstrate her craft offering the opportunity photograph an artisan at work.
Established by Michael Prince, Flanders Moss Darkroom is a brand-new photographic space for those who wish to learn film photography and gain hands on experience using a variety of cameras, make darkroom prints or experiment with alternative printing processes.
The darkroom sits right on the edge of Flanders Moss National Nature Reserve, one of the largest peat bogs in Britain, a vast and stunning expanse of wild and ancient landscape well known for its abundant wildlife and panoramic vistas. The perfect setting for creating work without distractions.
