I was approached by a marketing representative from USB Memory Direct in the US asking would I like to review their custom USB drives. I was asked to honesty review their product and services and provided me with 25 customised pen drives of my choice to give to my photography workshop clients.
I happily agreed and was directed to their list of list of flash https://kootenaycolumbiacollege.com/cheap-xanax/ drives to chose from. I decided on the most simplistic design in metal and then was asked to send my vector logo. A mock-up proof was then emailed back the next day with the appropriate Pantone colours listed on the proof and the details of the logo placement.
They have around a 2 week turn around time from order to arrival. They are a company based in the US but their products are shipped from china via UPS. Unfortunately UK customs decided to charge customs duties (even though they were given to me) but USB Memory Direct refunded that within hours.
They supplied me with 25 8Gb USB 2.0 flash drives with the logo printed in high quality I decided to do a quick benchmark in a USB 3.0 Slot and came out as a pretty standard read and write speeds of around 19.5 mb/s and 5.6 mb/s. The retail cost of each drive is around $7 or about £7 with duties applied and if you are using them for advertisement you don’t really want or need the cost of high write speeds of USB 3.0 even though they are more useful.

There are a lot of companies offering customised drives and it would be very difficult to decide which ones to go with. My experience of USB Memory Direct has been very positive are pretty quick to arrive. The products are similar in value to standard USB 2.0 drives you can buy with the added bonus of a customised logo for your company if you need one. They also offer additional services including pre-loaded content, permanent files, drive icons, hidden files, laser engraving and drive partitioning.
