I have just come back from Gary’s MTB Welsh Coast to Coast Charity ride: www.garyrides.co.uk. We popped up to Caernarfon last Saturday in 2 Sponsored Vito Sport Vans, staying overnight @ Llanberis Youth Hostel. He left Caernarfon at 10am and got to Cardiff at 10.30pm on the Sunday – with over 36 hours of cycling and 11,000 metres of climbing. I joined him from Nant-Yr-Arian trail centre at 10pm and rode with him for company and safety through the night finishing in Brecon town centre at 1.30pm on the Sunday some 15.5 hours and 110km later.
On the trip we were joined by his wife, his mate Stephen and a entourage of photographers and film makers for his inevitable video début. I tried to keep out of sight. I did however get some great shots of the beautiful scenery of North and Southwest Wales. I tiring but inspiring weekend. I include an individual album in the photography section just taken with my Samsung Galaxy S3. I know it’s not a pro camera but I think the scenery made up for this?
